Holla the Howler Monkey
“Howl You Doin’”
Hi! My name is Holla the Howler Monkey, and I love those New World monkeys living in the jungles of Central and South America. I love to howl as you may have guessed, and you can hear their howls from miles away. They are the loudest in the jungle kingdom and I’m the loudest in my neighborhood!
SOME FUN FACTS:
They live in the topmost canopy to enjoy the view of their homes. I live on the top floor of a high-rise apartment!
They migrate away from their original families and spend their adult lives with new families. I never call my parents!
Despite their alarming howls, they are gentle and rarely fight with their fellow group members. No comment!
Howlers live up to 15-20 years and mostly eat leaves, nuts, fruits, and sometimes bird eggs. We diverge here a bit, but you can clearly see the resemblance, right?
